October is my favorite month of all time. I am so excited about this particular October so I can rewrite my narrative around it and make it my own again.

This coming December, which I’m sure if you read my content, you already know, is the release of the last Zodiac Academy book, so I’m working on my reread. My goals for October are to read The Reckoning and Shadow Princess. (Cue pain, tears, utter emotional destruction)

Why Zodiac Academy is my favorite series

On top of my rereads, there are a few other books I’d like to get to as well.

A Kingdom of Sun and Shadow by Danielle Hill

Danielle is actually an Author turned friend that I met on BookTok through our mutual love of Zodiac Academy. Her book is actually my top priority for October due to the release of book 2 coming in November and I am also interviewing her in November as well. Which is super exciting. Can’t wait!

A Deadly Education by Naomi Novik

This book was recommended to me by the shop owners of Pocket Books Shop in Lancaster, PA. Blog and YouTube video coming soon

It sounded so freakin’ good and is a series, which I love a good magical series, and I can’t wait to dig into this one.

Gideon The Ninth by Tamsyn Muir

Available on KindleUnlimited

This was also recommended to me by the owners of Pocket Books. They really won me over with their book recs lol.

This book is about a lesbian necromancer and I’ve never read anything like this so I’m very intrigued to see whats inside these pages.

The One and Future Witches by Alix E. Harrow

This book is gorgeous and I love the textured end pages. I am actually so excited to get to this book and I am so annoyed with my brain for not allowing me to read like I want to. I’ve attempted to start this book twice now, and through no fault of its own, I just haven’t gotten far into it.

Love in the Time of Serial Killers by Alicia Thompson

Serial killers, cartoon covers, and rom coms… this area few of my favorite things. Well, okay serial killers are not some of my favorite things but I enjoy learning about them.

And of, course, my Zodiac Academy rereads

Here are a few of my favorite reads that give good October Read Vibes
