Due to this being the third book in the series and my deep hate for spoilers, this will be a more vague review because this story deserves to be experienced by the reader as they read it. If you’re here for spoilers, this is not the review for you, bestie.

It is a Why Choose, multiple POV dark romance, Peter Pan retelling, and PURE GOLD.

The series is about The Never King’s search to regain his shadow through the long line of Darling women. We meet Pan, the lost boys, and so many more of your favorite classic characters with a dark retelling twist.

Something I love about this series as a whole is the utterly delicious character development that Nikki St. Crowe has gifted us with in these books. The characters are ruthless and hot, and you’re 100% destined to fall in love with them.

They have short chapters, which I think we all agree makes us feel like superior and fast readers, we get to the action quickly, and I personally don’t feel like there is any lull in the plot within this storyline. Nikki gives us action, twists, and turns throughout every chapter.

Also, the spice level of this series is truly phenomenal. If you’re not on the market for a toe-curling, mouth-watering, make sure you have extra batteries available kind of read then this series is not for you.

I really can’t say enough good things about the author, Nikki St. Crowe, and the delicious world she created in The Vicious Lost Boys series. I can’t wait for the final book, but at the same time I’m not ready for it to be over.
