We are nearing the end of August (which to me is already fall) and September will be here before we know it. I live and breathe the ‘BER’ months and cannot wait for days to get crisp, the world to turn orange, and everything to be festive.

That being said, let’s get some Fall reading suggestions for you!

I’m not writing a description for every book. If one looks like it would interest you, click the picture and it will take you to the Amazon page where you’ll get a synopsis.

1. The Ex Hex by Erin Sterling

I’ve actually read this book and recommend it 100%. It is such a sweet read with the next book coming out in September 2022.

2. Love in the time of serial killers by Alicia Thompson

I have not read this yet but I want it so bad. I mean LOOK at that gorgeous cover. I can’t even tell you what it’s about if I wanted to because I have no clue. I personally love going into books “blind” and not knowing what I’m getting myself into.

3. Zodiac Academy

This will probably be on every TBR suggestion list I ever post from here until the end of my days. I love this series so much it is bordering on pure insanity, but it is truly a great read for fall. It is a 7 (8 including the book 1 retelling, plus some novellas) book series with the final book coming out December 11th.

4. The Once and Future Witches by Alix E. Harrow

I was actually gifted this book by a lovely booktok friend and I am so excited to read this. I was just told by a different booktok friend that it is their favorite read of 2022 so far, so again, I’m very excited. I might actually pick this one up next.

5. Hollow Heathens by Nicole Fiorina

I read this book and it is absolutely STUNNING. The cover, the inside, the dedication, this author put so much time into just the aesthetic of the book, that alone is 5/5 for me. Then when you get to the actual story, wow. *chefs kiss*

They even included character art right in the book which I LOVE. And, of course, I always love a book with a map. Don’t ask me why. I just live for those extra details, probably because sometimes I become utterly obsessed with books that when authors give me those extras it makes my obsession even more exciting.

6. Cousins O’Dwyer Trilogy by Nora Roberts

This will go down in Stephanie’s history as one of my favorite trilogies of all time. This is the absolute PERFECT series for fall as it has fall vibes, an Ireland setting, witchy vibes, love, spice, and just an amazing story. I can’t wait to eventually get to a reread of this.

7. Payback’s a Witch by Lana Harper

I have this book. I used one of my birthday gift cards on it back in April and really need to get to it. I literally have zero idea of what to expect. The cover is pretty and I’m a fan of witchy books, so it came home with me.

8. The Twilight Saga by Stephanie Meyers

My friend is hosting a Twilight Reread starting September 1st! You can join the Facebook group HERE.

It has been a billion years since I’ve read this series. I actually haven’t even read Midnight Sun yet and a couple of months (probably a year) ago I put The short life second life of Bree Tanner in my closest Free Little Library. I think I have regrets about that now but we’re not going to think about it.

Are you Team Edward or Team Jacob?

So, there you have it. A sprinkle of books I plan to read, along with some tried and true from yours truly.

What are you planning to read this fall? I’m always looking to add to my ever-growing TBR
