Why I am changing my blog niche

Ohhhhhh, friend. If you’ve read anything I’ve written before, been around for the wild transformation of this blog, my Instagram, etc, then I’m mildly inclined to apologize for the journey I’ve sent you on. But I’ve loved every minute of it, so I can’t bring myself to be sorry.

The last 2 years have been highly transformative for me. I have learned (and unlearned) so much about myself. I have prioritized my own feelings, thoughts, and happiness. I have hit my two-year milestone with therapy. I’ve rekindled my love of reading and just so many other amazing things have happened for me in these last two years.

When I started this blog I wasn’t really sure what I was doing, all I knew is that I wanted a blog. I actually wanted a blog back in the 2009-2010 timeframe but never made it happen. I’ve always had a lot to say and have always loved the internet, so it just felt like a place I wanted to be.

That being said, these last two years specifically have been quite amazing and I’ve truly made so much progress in every aspect of my life, but my social media platforms are now needing to change with me.

Moving forward, this blog, as well as my social media channels, will be bookish content and I personally cannot even freakin’ contain my excitement. I will also sprinkle in mental health advocacy because that will forever be important to me.

If this content is not something you’re into, I understand that you’ll be leaving me. I’ll miss you, but no hard feelings.

Remember that you’re allowed to unfollow and delete whoever you want, whenever you want, and you’re allowed to change your mind. Period.

For those of you who leave me in the dust, I wish you so well. I hope life is everything you want and more.

For those of you who are staying, I wish you well, also hahaha. I hope life is everything you want and more AND I’m excited to be a part of it!

That’s all for this post. Just a little informational post that life is changing, things here are shifting, and a gentle reminder that you are allowed to change WHENEVER and HOWEVER you decide.

Wishing you all the best,
Stephanie
